Need help getting tranny bolt holes re-threaded. I looked for a way to do the job and know one seems to have a clue your help would be appreciated....THANK YOU!

Which holes are you talking about?  The trans pan bolts?  Trans to engine bolts?


Either way you are looking at some careful and detailed work using Heli-coils. 

you basically drill out old threads and install new heli-coil, re-tap and away you go.

All of this assumes the old thread are beyond saving with a good bottom tap?

Chris thanks Chris I'm going to give it a try being that this is the only way i find to do this work 7 mechanics and none gave this idea so thanks ill let you know how it gos Thanks owner of BRONCOBILLY.
