Well y'all; neither rain wind sand etc etc could stop my old bitch from starting and making noise through that 3" throat...New fuel pump $16. incl. tax and a $1,300 rebuild Rambuctious vocalize's for the first time still can'ty start it from the key...have to use the relay but she idle's w/ no connections frm pedal. take all the idea's i can get on that key/start issue any ideas??

Does it click at all when you turn the key or is it just dead? If it clicks check the contacts/nuts on the starter to make sure that they are on there tight and clean.

negative. I had a neutral safety issue prior to swap...still do i think

Oh yeah for anyone reading this do yourself a favor don't forget the freeze plugs I did and two of'em are leaking as I type. They can't be more then a buck apiece and I am extremly p.o'd at my own stupidity. Had the motor in a stand for most of a year..stupid stupid not to mention stupid!

You can get some expansion type freeze pugs as well be easer to put those in . If i have to guess youer igniotn switch in the column probably is the cause of no key ignition .
