Hey Sam... where is everybody staying / camping? i looked at the website today, and it looks like Fancy Creek (or whatever that name was) is closest, but small. they only have 12 sites with electric, for those (like me) looking for it. also, did you notice the "quiet hours" for most of the campgrounds? 10pm to 6am. um..... so much for driving our rigs to and from each other's campfires! gonna have to foot it!

anywho, when is everybody going to start making reservations, and to where? it'd be nice if we all were at the same place......

that might be a good place for everyone to park their rigs and trailers. i'm bringing a camper that goes in the back of my other truck, so i'll need some power. actually, i really wouldn't NEED power, but it'd be nice. you know.. lights and other ******* necessities... like a bug zapper and a case of beer! quality entertainment!!!!! ;D

Might be a good idea to contact the campground and see if you can arrange a group discount. Get a rough head count and ask if they can cut us a deal for this # of sites, give or take a few?

Hey what is wrong with Jeeps? J/K. Keep in mind most of us are from around here so we will not be taking up any of the camping spots. Also there are other camp grounds that you could look into. There is the one at Fancy Creek, but about 20 minutes south of the ORV at the river pond/spillway area. The campgrounds there are very nice, but they will fill up quick. But there are a lot of powered hookups there. Good luck to you guys. Can't wait to meet some of you.

River pond is a very large camp ground and lots of hock ups. I think the closer the better. I say if fancy creek can hold us lets stay there. Some of us may have to take a road trip to check it out.

hey jeepguy - no slams from me. i was merely stating that the jeep group was going to the ORV park to have their event the same weekend we were, so there's gonna be a TON of people out there! welcome to the site!!!!

No offense taken. Sorry if it sounded that way. I was actually just being sarcastic.

Somehow I ended up at your site. I realized that Ram Jam was going to be here next year, and I thought I would offer the assistance of our club. I talked to Sam via email, and my club is going to do anything we can to help out.

Hope to see all of you there.

By the way, for those of you who are somewhat local. Our club, which is an all makes club, will be meeting on Saturday the 8th at 11:30 at the Randolph Cafe, if you would like to come along, we will have a short meeting and then there will be some wheeling afterwards.

I copied this from the Pennsylvania forum under Ram Jam 2003.
I'm planning on going, does any one know what camp site is the "large one" that we need to stay @, my wife doesn't want to camp and is wondering if we can rent a travel trailer, cabin or something while there. I'm planning on using my tracks and will need to stay off the roads (cops) as much as possible once the tracks are on. I want to put them on and leave them on the whole weekend. Someone please help me out. Mark
