Today I went to Dover Downs for the Monster Mile racing experience. I could choose between driving a car (ex-winston cup and busche series cars) or a truck (ex-craftman series truck), so being the ******* I am I drove the truck. It was a 20 lap program, divided into 2 ten lap segments. If anyone is even remotely interested in racing, this or any other racing program is highly recomended. It was so cool. Anyway, here's some pics.

This first one is of me standing on the start/finish line.

Here I'm standing infront of one of their instructors cars. Do you think he's a Dale Sr. fan?

Edit: It was really nice to see a black #3 running around the track again.

In this pic, I'm pulling the truck onto the track for my first segment.

That's all the pics for now. I may have one or two more, but I have to resize them before I can post them. The best part of the day (besides driving a real race car) was when the day was over they gave us a free used race tire. I think I smell a custom coffee table project (I told you I was a *******)!!

Yeah it was. It cost me around $550, but it was worth every penny.

one of my coworkers did this a few months ago.Im happy you liked it but he was dissapointed. He told the guy he can drive that same speed in his vette. But he also said it is quite an expeirence when someone else is driving and he was the passenger.
Yeah, they limit the speed to about 120 mph. I've done that on the street in my younger, dumber days, but it felt so much faster on the track. A couple seconds after coming out of one turn, you're jumping into the next one. All in all, it was really cool even if we weren't going full race speed. All the people are real nice and bend over backwards to make you happy too.
