Nice R/C why do those rims look like the stock ones from the earlyer fords? ;D

You guys are very lucky to find this. I really do like that color combination.
Somehow we have to convince your boss that some lift and swampers would make it really stand out!
Oh yeah, that Ram logo needs to be in the center of the hatch window! ;D

Yeah that is what they are. I don't know why I said baja.

This is what the truck has now
318 (Engine was rebuilt about 2 years ago)
Edlebrock intake and Carb (also have brand new holley 600)
Flowtech headers (also have a brand new set of heddman)
RV cam
K&N Filter and Filter Lid
True duals with Flowmaster mufflers
Tranny was rebuilt about 2 years ago, as well as the front and rear ends, but the rear end has some major play in the pinion shaft.

What I am going to do
Put Dana 60's under it front and rear Done
6 or 8 inch suspension lift Done
4" RCC Lift (kinda, since we don't have them anymore) Used part of the RCC lift
44's, don't know if I will go with Super Swampers or Ground Hawgs
build a 360 for torque for it
Get super low gears
Build front and rear bumpers with skidplates

Things I might do
Go with smaller tires, which would eliminate the 4" RCC lift
Keep the 318 and try a twin turbo setup
Go with shackles both front and rear and go with some sort of locating suspension setup (for flex)
If I do that I may move the axles farther apart by a few couple of inches. Moved the rear axle back 4"
Crossover steering with high steer Crossover is done, high steer was done but went back to normal crossover steering when I went with hydro assist

8" plus 44's. That reminds me. The other day i was in Home Depot and came across these new lite weight aluminum folding ladders. Don't remember the price, but i can find out for you if you want?

What's new:

  • Dana 60's front and rear with 4.10 gears
  • Skyjacker 6" front springs
  • Custom 6" 3/4 Elliptical setup using late model Suburban springs and the stock RC spring as the buggy leaf
  • Located the rear axle approx. 4" toward the rear

Just want to point out that all tires are touching the ground in the above pic, I will post some more flexy stuff in the action section.

Special thanks to mrpeal for his genius mind and help :)
