Hi all,

Has anybody here used a powertrax locker? If so, which of the two models they have was it, which rearend did you use it in, and how do you like it? I'm considering one for the 8 3/4 in my ramcharger, but I wanted some input before spending the money.

I didn't really provide enough info on how the truck is used: It's an 86 2wd ramcharger with a pretty healthy 440, used only on the street. It will see some dragstrip use, but mostly street. I don't mind spending a good deal of money, but I'd like to get something that doesn't require disassembling the ring and pinion gears, something that I can install in my driveway. From the responses, I see that the lockright is not the way to go-I need better street manners than that. Anybody have experience with the noslip?
