I just installed a new steering gear box on my 78 rc.
Now when you turn the wheel left it goes right and vice versa.
would reversing the pressure and return line cause this?
thanks guys

You very well could have the lines crossed. Swap them around and see if it changes any thing. Just the same I "WOULD NOT" drive or run the engine much in the current configuration.

You probably have the wrong steering box. '72-'77 4wds used a reverse rotation steering box (pitman arm swings in a vertical plane, sector shaft is horizontal). '78+ 4wds use a standard rotaion box (pitman arm swings in a near horizontal plane, sector shaft is nearly vertical).
