im looking into running a west coast type of mirror not sure what ones to get theres so many so lets see them trucks with west coast mirrors!!!

What ever style you go with, add the diagonal bar if it does not have it. Mine did not have it originally (still waiting for the round- to-it to get the pass side done). Without it, the mirrors will vibrate, sometimes not objectionable, but it is inducing metal fatigue on the door. My pass door has a crack from the bottom mount, up to the window.

I miss my '74s a lot.  Drum front brakes were the only bad thing about them.  I hope to have another one day.  Maybe a Crew Cab, lol.

Yes the drum brakes suck.
I fixed that problem years ago with a fairly easy fix.

Yes there good too.
I just love the NP 205 over the full time stuff that came out in '75...
And the poor 75's were getting hit hard with smog controls.

Good points Kurt. I never drove an earlier one. In fact I knew nothing about dodge trucks till I bought mine. I'd probably like the 205 setup better too. Emissions would bother me as well. My one tons don't have any emissions equip. I think they were exempt in the day.
