This is the best i can do for you are you ready.

You rebuild the rear, you clean everything, to keep everything fromn getting dirty you stuff a rag in the axle ends, you forget to pull 1 rag out and send the axle in on the left side and now it's block oil.

If it's not that well you're on your own because i have no idea why in the world that would be, bet you didn't have this problem with your old rear.

OK if there is nothing in that axle tube i have no idea why it wouldn't run out, unless you have to much lift and the rear is pointed so high to meet the driveshaft angle you can't get enough oil in it to get to the axle tubes before it comes out the fill hole.

On my D60 I have always packed the bearings before installing them. Seems I read that somewhere. I also filled the differeretial with the proper amount of lube and then checked it on a level srface to make sure it was just below the filler plug. At no time have I ever had lube gushing out the tubes except for a small amount when pulling the axles out. The lube should move around in the tubes while driving. I have never had a bearing failure.

The wheel bearings are sorta a splash lubed design,the way to fill after a rebuild is:
fill to level,
jack up 1 side about a foot ,
let sit about 5 min
let down
check fluid
jack up other side
let sit about 5 min
let down
check fluid.

I've also heard of people packing the bearings with grease when new, as chump suggested

Well to be totally honest on a new bearing i would pack it, and then refill the rear.

Any progress on this, if not just before you shove the axle in take the gear oil bottle squirt it in the axle tube shove the axle back in and then jack it up so it runs into that end.

Or put the 9.25 that had no problems back in, bigger isn't always better, and im not jinxing you but since you have bearing problems already wait till it ruins a race and it spins in the hub, boy that is an expensive fix right there.
