well, i decided to take my new truck muddin. i was goin with some buddies from work. so were wheeling haveing a good time when i slid in a 3-foot deep hole. so we wraped a chain around my back bumper and started to pull with a wrangler. the jeep didnt even budge it. so we took out our flashlights and saw that my diffs and t-case we touching the ground. so we got another chain and tied it to another wrangler. and they just moved it a little. so i decied i was goin to go back to town and get my power-ram 250 and some shovels. i come back and hook up my 2 truck together and proceded to pull. well it was just budgein a little. so we start yankin and pullin and the t-case on my power ram goes out. so we were pullin in 2-wheel drive we got my NEW r/c out enought to where we can push it. so we start to get goin and my r/c slides into a tree. and dents up the door. so we start leavin and my pick up cant even make it up a little muddy hill. so i had to pull that one out with my rc. so here is what needs to be repaird....the r/c new bumper, fix the dent on rear quarter panel so that i could shut my lift gate, fix 3 dents on the passengerside, cd player wont trun on (no power), carpet needs to be shampod, fender flair need to be put back in its place. now for the damages to my power ram, new or rebulit t-case and new front hubs.

my I-man (instrument tech) Paul has a 88 jimmy that he calls black betty too! every time he says it's name he has to sing a couple of verses from the song "BLAMALAM!"lol. sweet new rc you got there, too bad ya already boogered it,shit happens!

next time try to dig a little more out and let some air out of the tires, even if the diffs and t-case are dug in.rock the steering wheel back and forth with a little wheel spin and you'll be suprised at how it'll start to crawl out of it's grave.if that doesn't work ,find a good solid point to attach the strap/chain,frame rail or bumper bracket close up to the frame as possible.if your gonna wheel it alot it would be wise to invest in some good tow hooks and recovery gear.i'm a party cheif on a survey crew and we work out of 3/4 ton 4x suburbans with lots of heavy gear inside that we stick all the time.having the right gear to get us out let's us come home at night.
