Howdy,
I need a hinge for my passenger side bucket seat, 76 RC. My RC does not have one at all right now, the seat is just bolted to the floor, so that means I can't pull the seat forward to let passengers in the back seat. Any suggestions? I've looked in the local junk yards with no luck. I have checked out the release mechanism and it is working fine, just need the hinge.

you could try using an 80s rcs setup, but alot of them are broken. mine is, anybody know how to fix them? im prolly gonna weld up a new hinge and/or fix this one.

a garden gate hinge is realy wide ..was going to do that, but mine was fixable the 89 has a gas tube to keep it from going to far forward ...and not let it slam back .. much better than the 77....have procrastinated on putting one on the 77.. oh well soon LOL

What is "80's rcs set up"?

I think he means 80s RamCharger's setup. Just find yourself a generic weld on or bolt on hinge. If you wanna look around some try to find one from a 88-93 ramcharger with the pneumatic gas shock to limit the travel.

Just use a regular hinge like already mentioned. You can get them at hardware stores. the cylinder can be bought still, easy to fab up the mounts for it.
