the dammits that hold the window trim in place on the outside of the vehicle on the 81-93 Ramchargers. the rear side windows (the big ones) i need a bunch of those clips an need a better way to describe an can someone please tell me how its supposed to work. i got the trim parts but not the clips

i dont want to reuse old ones. there plastic there brittle an they break. the napa in carson had no clue what i was talking about

Some time back down in the vech. help section Chump posted some places to get trim clip stuff - don't know if it covers what your looking for. Your probably better at finding old posts than I am - I always have trouble with the search fuction !

I believe it is part number 6003753 at Mopar. I'll look around for an outside source but I don't think there is one that I know of, you might want to call Dodge and see if you can verify that part number(and price ??? ) and then we can go from there. Are there any part numbers stamped on the clip? How many do you need?

You can get those clips at a Carquest, Don. I had to get some for my 82 when my trim came off. The dealer wanted $3 each for them and I got a whole box (it had 18 in it I think) for $12 from Carquest. If you need to put all of the trim on you'll probably need at least 3 boxes. They were easy to use too. I had half the trim back on in about a half hour.

It's the truth now, Dad turned in his 2 week notice. Said he's sick of the sh-t.

I know the trim clip is available thru Dodge, I have replaced my front windshield and the locking rim trim clip was $6.00. I know this is a high price, but that is what I have to pay for original parts here in VABCH. From what I have heard of prices at other dealers around the country, everyone else pays less than I do.

HUH, the people here at my Napa are pretty good. If i want to talk to part counter morons then i go to Pep boys or Advance auto parts!
