Anyone else out there play? what do you shoot?

I've got four markers:

My main/long gun:
VM 68 Magnum, SmartParts All-American progressive barrel, Ricochet AK agitating hopper, Max-Port power valve, Venturi bolt, gas-thru stock,

The Speedgun:
WGP B.O.S.S. X-raider, ported barrel, starfire bolt.

The Sidearm
Core ZX, Laser sight.

The Backup:
Markel Mirage, totally stock.

i like to play mainly woodsball, but speedball is interesting. i've been playing on and off for about 10 years.

I played for about 6 years. Before I stopped playing I had a 2000 Dark Angel Cut and Colored, a 2001 Dark Angel Cut and Colored. two 2002 Dark Angels cut and Colored and a Sterling Pump. After I had the second surgery on my shoulder I realized that I woulnd't be able to compete like I used to. The last Am-A division team I played for was Force Of Nature, out of NC. But since I sold most everything but I kept my Sterling, they are too hard to find and worth way too much for being a Pump.

dayum.. Angels. money. that's why i like my VM, i can beat it on a tree, drop it in the mud or in the sand, or whatever, and it still fires. of course, it maxes at around 10bps, i wouldn't mind 25-30 bps.

I just got invited by my nephews to play on a woodsball team. I have a Spyder compact deluxe, modified bolt, and bottom feed and expansion chamber. we play a lot at my bro-in-laws, he has 29 acres of woods. Since i hunt , i know how to NOT be seen and it freaks the kids out that the OLD guy almost always takes `em out clean!

I was playing for the love of speed. Went to the world cup in Fl two years in a row. Used to play about 40 hours a week for practice. If I needed to I could spit out 13bps with out thinking about it, But playing mostly mid I would average 8 or 9 bpm. I had my 2002's dailed in to a perfect 299fps. Never broke the crono. I lost the edge and will to compete after surgery. Once you hesitate on the feild you screwed. So I backed off. Like I said I sold the Markers and some of the gear but got enough to start over again if I want to. Just need to buy a couple new markers.

DJ, I just re-read my post, it sounds like i'm bashing you... i wasn't, not intentionally, anyway.lol

I've never played with an electronic marker, one of my buddies has an E99 Spyder, but he's only using a grav hopper, so he's limited to about 8bps.

the other thing that i realized, all of my primary markers are no longer made, and are really not even acknowledged by their manufacturers anymore.

I used to play all the time. I started of with a Diablo pump gun, then I upgraded to a Tippmann Pro-lite, which I upgraded with a venturi bolt and a 16" Smart Parts ported sniper barrel.

hey i bought a marker, but i only bought it to shoot bogger35 when he goes out and takes a leak, and he goes out and takes a leak about every ten minutes, when were out wheeling, hehehe. im just trying to train him to wheel longer with less piss stops

bwahaha... just make sure he wears a mask.

lots of ranchers use paintballs to mark cows that they want to either save or pull or whatever... have a friend up in Montana, he has one that he usually leaves in his truck, well he saw one he wanted to mark, grabbed the gun and shot it in the head. the cow just kinda stood there shaking its head, so he tried again. same result. no paint breakage. then he realized that it was around 15 degrees and the paint was frozen

moral of the story, make sure it is warm before you shoot him for peein'

I used to play all the time. I've got a spyder compact SE that has a few little mods to it and a cheapo wallymart special for my backup. I used to play alot untill I started doing alot of field training with the army and then shooting paintballs gets boring compared to MILES and really long shots.

I've used MILES but I hated people cheating. Tap your barrel box and it shoots, take your batteries out or put them in backwards and you never die. It's a great system when people use it right.
