i HAVE BEEN LEAKING OIL ON MY 84 RC FOR ALITTLE WHILE NOW AND DONT KNOW WHY ME AND MY DAD LOOKEd AT IT AND ITS NOT THE OIL PAN OR THE REAR MAIN SEAL OR THE FILTER. ITS COMING FROM ABOVE THE OIL FILTER SOMEWHERE, IF ANYBODY HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE TELL ME

Check your valve covers. you may be able to tighten them a little.

Yeah tighten your valve cover bolts, don't kill them just a little turn, then clean the motor with degreaser and make sure you get the back of the motor to where the oil sender is, then see if you still have leaks, if so either the valve cover gaskets are shot or the oil sender is leaking

Maybe you have porous heads.

yeah, it could also be where the sending unit attaches to the motor. top of the block, to the passenger side of the distributor (assuming this is a smallblock)
