I really like the look of the pizza cutters on these old trucks. At first I was going to get 265/75r16 but there’s something that looks good about the tucked look. I still need to get the blue film off the white letters haha literally just bright it home

They do look good on there! I also think the tall thin look looks great on these old trucks. Ive been searching for a good allaround tire for mine. Seems like the KO's do a bit of everything. Im planning 30/9.5 on my 1/2 ton if I keep the stock wheels.

Really like your truck, a lot. Takes me back to my early teen years and my Dad's 440/435 powered '74 D200. It would mortally fry a 6.50/16 lol.

I'll tell you what after putting the KO2's on I have about 40 miles on them after yesterday, the ride quality has improved 10 fold. There's a set of railroad tracks that I cross down the road and it used to be so brutal that sometimes my connections on my blinkers would come loose. I drove over them yesterday and it was just a bit bumpy I was really amazed how much better these tires make the truck ride.

The last set of tires I had I could get to slip on black top all the time in 1st and 2nd and even in reverse if I was backing up hill. These BFG's stick a lot better.

Beautiful Truck !!!
My first idea when I bought mine was to keep the original look and I began to search 2 hub caps for sale (the 2 rear were missing). But when the truck arrived in France I saw that the original wheels were 16.5" and it's impossible to find this size of tire in France. So I had to change my first idea. I found 4 Cragar steel wheels 16" and I put Hankook 265/75 on them. It is not the look I initially wanted but it's still cool.

Bienvenu! 235 is the same height as 265 just not as wide. I really like the stuffed look yours has. Where’s your truck originally from? I know there’s a decent amount in Germany and Netherlands.

In Europe you can find W200 from N.A.T.O army. If you are lucky, some are in good shape with low mileage. I don't know why but 3 of my trucks came from the area of Seattle (WA). I think there was a good Dodge dealer in this town during the 70's. I found the 76 D100 long bed utiline on Ebay in 2017. The 75 D200 was found on Craigslist in 2019. I bought the 78 D150 near the Canadian border on Ebay too. My philosophy for classic trucks is : make a good shower, put new underwear and keep the old suit ;o)

When staying with narrow wheels, I prefer the extra height of the 255/85R16. Ran them on my Chevy 1-ton for several years.

I'm not seeing a price peak for that size within a brand/model... just the usual trend of bigger costs more.

I debated getting BFG’s in 255/85 but they were only the KM3s and the KO2s are just so much better looking imo. So I stuck with the 235/85
