I'm bending a new fuel line from the carb to the filter, and the interior of the pipe is visibally smaller than the stock stuff. I did notice, however, that it all has to pass through the peice that screws into the carb, which is small than both. Is this going to matter at all? I was actually sold steel "Brake Line," but have been told it's practically the same stuff. Is it gonna matter?

Ok my mind is shot today, but fluid will flow it's smallest diameter, that being said you want as much flow and volume to the smallest point which in your case and everyones case should be the float bowl, a smaller diameter anywhere else before that point and it will cause problems, now you didn't get very specific on motor size and any extras if any so all im gonna say is the 5/16 line is ok until you get into anything reguiring more rpm, depending on what you did i would stick with 5/16' all the way thru or 3/8 but nothing smaller anywhere in between the tank and the carb
