?

you can either ground across the terminals and fool it into thinking it is in neutral or park, or you can hook a push button starter switch up to the solenoid on the driver side firewallRebel Ram said:how do u bypass them?
ooops missed that part. ok you are right with a standard he will not ahve a neutral safety switch, however, did he have one of those switches that wont let the ignition kick in unless the clutch is fully depressed? if so he will have to figure out how to bypass thattaz_man440 said:Chad.. your truck came from the factory with a standard so you don't have the wiring for a switch. If you want a switch, we can.. but you have to have a bad fuseable link for the ignition switch not to work...
no could start it with out pushing the clutchintenseimages said:however, did he have one of those switches that wont let the ignition kick in unless the clutch is fully depressed? if so he will have to figure out how to bypass thattaz_man440 said:Chad.. your truck came from the factory with a standard so you don't have the wiring for a switch. neutral safety switch does not cause it to go in and out of gear, it just will not let engine turn over unless it is in neutral or park.ProjectM880 said:Well i already told chad this, but my truck was already bypassed when i got it and i would drive and it would fall in to neutral then back in gear. i replaced the neutral saftey switch but also the fluid and rewire it and then it didn't fall out of gear , i was under the impression if you bypass it then your trans thinks it in neutral all the time so thats why i thought mine kept falling out of gear. But if yall say to by pass it then bypass it i guess. Mabe it was just bad tranny fluid in mine so when i replaced both it started to work.
