I am in need of the trim panel retaining clips for a 1988 tailgate. this is the narrow, brushed aluminum panel that fits only down the center of the tailgate and is 5 (FIVE) inches wide. these white plastic clips LOOK the same as the side moding clips , but are longer. If you know A PART NUMBER of the originals or an aftermarket number would much appreciate it. thanks Crossy

auveco.com has the widest selection of clips that I have found BUT I haven't found those yet. Many pages of various "clips". You can narrow you search by finding the DODGE section rather than looking thru all models and makes of vehicles.

I was looking thru the newest LMC catalog today and noticed that they have the panel that attaches to the tailgate AND the CLIPS that you need. Problem is that they come with the purchase of the panel. Might be worthwhile to contact them and see what u can do
