Truck is looking really good. Don't worry that it's your first project. My truck is the fourth attempt in over ten years. I gave up on the others because of lack of funds, nobody would do the mods I wanted or I couldn't find the parts to do what I wanted. Just take your time and when you get frustrated just walk away for awhile.

Cheeto, where did you find a hidden style at, that is what I am looking for.

The one Shannon has you can find at Radio Shack, It is a piece of tape with a wire on the backside that you run along the outer edge of the windshield, you can get for less that five bucks if this is the same style.

i did not spend a dime not even a penny i just took the antena out cust the wire striped back some shielding and soldered a 2' pece of 18 gage wire to it and ran it behind the rubber molding that holds the windshield in if you try this you will see that there is enough room to a new antena up there so that is what i did

the truck is looking awesome! I love the tailgate! Nice job on the axle flip too. I'm going to have to get to work on mine. I'm going to be bagging the front in a week or so and I think I may have solved the drop spindle problem. I talked to a guy with a bagged '88 Ram. He said he used 91-96 Dakota spindles on his truck and they bolted up without any problems. I'm going to give it a try. I'll let you know how it goes.

You oughta see it in person, or drive it for that matter ;D Wish my 318 had the getup that his has. I'm not one for lowered trucks either, but this one is quite nice. Can't wait to see the "finished" (true projects are never finished) product ;D

I was hoping that you can help me, on the lower control arm do you also have to get a new springs, or do you have to just put it on and it is lowered, or what else do you have to do.
lower control arms only means that the spring pocket is lower you keep the same springs all is good if this spindle thing goes well the that would be the best way to go

The truck looks great, but I have a few more question, first of all do you like the control arms, and How does it ride.
When you added the control arms, did you have to do any mods to the spring before you put it back together, and how does it all fit in the origional holes, did you have to do any drilling for the new arms.
Thanks for all the help
