The paint is the same as used on 2002 Rams. It's called intense blue pearl coat and the code is PB3. Sure looks a lot different on the older body style, doesn't it? Got it done for $400 at maaco...the rockers are just semi-gloss black spray paint that I did myself. I was thinking about putting a red pinstripe between the blue and black.

if the pics aren't working, try right-clicking on the box with the x in it, then click "properties" and copy the address and paste it into your browser. One day I'll get a good pic site going but my computer seems to have a max speed of 1 mph :-\

Can't wait to get the engine in and go play!

I wasn't happy with maaco at all. They might be ok if you prep it yourself, but there's lots of dirt in the paint and it's very orange peeley. also they painted my underbody a lot which i specifically requested that they not do. I asked them to remove all the moldings and emblems and paint under them. they didn't do that. they also "forgot" to sand many areas, so the paint blasted off the first time I used a power washer on it (and that was 2 mo. after it was painted). I had to take it back to get it repainted under warrenty which was still a big hassle. then they were unable to match their first paint mix so they ended up repainting the entire truck a slightly different color. I could tell when I was sanding my rockers to paint them black because there's 2 different colors of blue. They also lost my 150 emblems and returned it wth 250 emblems (at least it's got 3/4 ton parts) and lost a few of parts to my antenna so I had to rig up with some washers to make it stay in place or buy a new one. It was $1100 including all the body work, which they did a terrible job on. The paint itself was $350, and this was one coat, no clear coat. Like I said, they can probably spray the paint on better than an amatuer, but definatly prep it yourself!!!!! {flipoff} {flipoff} {flipoff}
