3 times on the way to work today , after it was plenty warm too? i was stopping at a light it just died . I didn't feel it stutter at all , next light same thing , and once more . started up like nothing and purred each time after. I got to work and ran a can of carb cleaner through and on the linkages . now seems fine ? any idea what happend? i know my timing is a little off but what could it have been?

it's 360/ 727 with a carter thermoquad on it .bone stock

I would do the simple things first...run a can of "Heet" through the gas tank to remove any water and change the fuel filter. At this point it's hard to tell what may have happened...could be an ignition problem also?

i just replaced the filter last month, i'm 90% sure i don't have water . i think my coil might be going could that have done it the cap roter plugs and wires were done 15000 kms ago
i have a msd blaster 2 sitting here Do they just drop in? or do i need that resistor that came with it?
