well guys it has been a while since i was on here last, but i have been working alot. as for my trans problems, those who remember about my vibration and who gave some great ideas, it is still doing it. so out of my tax returns im having it rebuild and im going to tell them to drive it and if it still does it, double check the ujoints, tires and anything else they can find. im also thinking of a nother steering box. mine has a lot of play in it. you can actually turn the wheel about half way around and you dont change directions at all. is there a "tighter ratio" i can get? thanks for your help.

There is a lot here to consider but I will limit myself to the following because I don't remember the details you posted before.

Tranny: Did you get new tranny mounts/new rubber or poly?

Steering: What condition is your steering shaft in?

check the nuckle where the shaft hooks up to the box the in side of the nuckle goes out its a 10 dollar rebuild kit and takes about a hour to get all done I had the same problem check if that is you problem

did check the mounts, they are good even my motor mounts. the coupler on the steering shaft i replaced about in october.i bought anew kit from the dealer for it. im thinking maybe my converter is cracked. but may as well have it rebuilt while its out, it had sit in a junkyard for four years before i got it.

By coupler do you mean the rag joint or the slip joint?

What condition are your control arm bushings in?
