This is my older brother's '87 W-150. It has a 383 BB and 727 trans. Im not real sure about the transfer case but I do know it has a Dana 44 up front with new Warn Manual Hubs, Chrysler 9.25 in the rear, both with 3.23 gears. It also has 4" suspension, and 3" body with 33" thornbirds on 15X10 Rockcrawlers. It has a Rollbar out of a chevy stepside and bucket seats out of a late model Dodge Daytona.

That is exactly how i envisioned what good Dodge should look like not flashy but down right evil looking though man . that is a hell of a paint job on it man . the 83 RC I had was all smooth . Damn find looking machine . Best 1 I have laid eyes on as far as looks go .

MY brother rally likes the all black look too. The paint only cost about 600 or so, it is a Maaco mid grade job. He really just loves the Big Block power. I guess thee is no replacement for displacement.

Power Ramin: the truck does rip with the 383 and he loves it. I of course have only been fortunate enough to drive it once.

I will try to get more pics but I am at school in Kalamazoo and I live at home about an hour north of Detroit on the complete other side of the state, so it is hard to get pics.

Beautiful truck. Something about a 383 in a truck just gets me going I guess it's because its a swap you don't see very often. Between your RC and your brother's Pick up, you guys seem to be doing ok mopar wise

Just wondering if your brother ever as anything bad to say about the 383? I'm planning on put one in my 78 RC but people tell me big block's don't rev very good. Very nice truck by the way. Big fan of the black truck and black windows look.

My Brother has had nothing but good things to say about the motor except his rear main is bad. Otherwise he loves it.
