I got her for 800 and she ran and drove home good.360,727,Chrysler 9.25 and D44.I have alot to come for this truck.8" of lift and 38s,built 360,all black and red.Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Yeah the only rust was the very bottom of the tailgate which is up for sale now and right above the rear wheelwells.The reason I got it so cheap was the accelerator pump was bad and the guy thought it needed a motor! It is a one owner with 138,000 original miles

Nice truck. Are you sure it's a '79? Appears to have an earlier grille. ('75-'76?) What motor?

Yes it is for sure a 79 and yes the grille is original I thought the same thing.It has a 360 in it for now.I may rebuild it or pop in a 440 if I don't end up selling it.Anybody want to buy the tailgate off her?It is in good shape some minor rust on inside bottom.

It looks like a earlier grille to me too, maybe it's picture. Any idea on how long the brush gaurd been on it? Looks real good, is the 78 a big-block? To bad your so far away it's a great color combo..

No I don't know about the grille gaurd.The 78 is a new jasper performance 360

hte quad headlight grille was optional on 79 and later trucks. my stepdad had a 79 3\4 ton shorty crew with what looked to be a 76 or earlier grille.... i have seen a few 80s with that grille also...
