I might be thinking about someone else, but weren't you the one who did an odd ball front spring swap in to that green one and ended up getting a lot of flex? I'd be interested in hearing the details of that swap again if it was you.

I started on that springs swap, and never got around to putting it on. Right now i dont know if i want ot either, because already, with the 3" rancho lift springs, i loose all steering. The spring combo is the top 3 leafs out of a mid 70's plymouth duster, the 4th spring is a stock 77 W-100 4th leaf, and the bottom 3 leafs are random YJ leafs, that all fit well (mix of front and rear packs). The springs are the same length front the front, to the center pin, and 4" longer than stock. The shackles are long enough to touch to body mount, so it has to be clearenced alittle bit.

Anyway, here are the specs on that truck.

360 small block, with a mild build up (8.5:1 summit pistons, RV cam, etc), used to have a performer intake and holley projection, but now that is off (i toasted the computor) so i just have the factory intake and carb. Front suspension is rancho 3" lift springs (42054s), rears are skyjacker 4" hard rides, with the bottom leaf removed (rear is exactally 1" taller than the front). Currently i have a d44 with a rancho axle truss, rancho dual steering stablizers, and milemarker part time manual hubs. Rear axle is basically a stock 9.25" rear, with a disk break conversion waiting to be put on. Plan is right now to sell these axles, and put on my 88 suburban 8 lug 10 bolt. Plan is to put in a welded dana 60 rear, for now, till i put in a 14 bolt, with a dana 60 front axle (doubt it is gonna happen for awhile). Currently i have 35x12.5" goodyear MTR's on it, but i also have a set of 36x12.5" sx;s for it. Hope to order my new 8 lug rims soon. It has a basically stock 727 auto, and a 74 ramcharger 203. Frame was sandblasted, and re-painted silver. The radiator support is on a custom built uni body mount in the center (the whole front body is slightly tweaked to the drivers side because of the weight of the battery). Front bumper is a custom built pre-runner bumper, built for a warn 9500i winch, by rock shark engineering.
I think that is pretty much it for now. I hope to work on it most of december and have it going well by january.

I have some updated pics of my power wagon. Finally got my 10 bolt in the front.. but it still has alot of work left to do. Steering collumn from the 77 doesent bolt on to the 79 cab, doors are stripped, thinking about boxing the frame, Cant decide on a bed (Stock fleetside, brown truck stepside, toolbox+frame width flatbed, or just a normal width flatbed with headache rack. Also been thinking about tossing the brown truck body on the green truck chassis (its complete). Any opinions are more than welcome ;D
