Actually took it on the road for about a mile just to see what happened lol. It walks all over the place. Not much that causes that at bone stock so I'll go through all the components. Radiator leaks and looks like muddy water anyways so a new radiator and a good flush is gonna happen. No power inside the cab so wiring is gonna be a priority so nothing burns up. Tires are mismatched and square so might be a good reason to adjust the stance and get wheels and tires. I'd love a set of old aluminum Jackmans.

Thanks! Haven't done much lately cause we've been on vacation. I did order a radiator today. Ended up ordering a cheapie from auto zone. All my normal sources couldn't find me the big new Yorker radiator that I usually try to get.

Well, in typical fashion these days. Radiator arrived and I don't think it was big enough to cool one cylinder of this 440! And the typical answer... well that's what my computer says will fit it... I'll just have to search the interweb myself.

That was just the first easy one to find, might be better deals out there, need to look around. And also make sure it fits. RA also lists this one for an 86 360, does not specify what side the top hose is on. A 360 needs it on the drivers side.

Little did I know that a radiator would be so hard to find. Seems like everything is out of stock or no longer exists. My inlet and outlet are passenger side which seems to be a little abnormal. Ended up getting a hold of champion and they are going to fab one for me... hurry up and wait for a few weeks. Ugh

Yea, strange how suddenly they are scarce everywhere. One of mine cracked the lower tank. I thought I would take the easy way out and buy one, but even orileys cannot get one for a small block. So now I have to dig through my stash, and test/ fix one before I can swap it.

There is a radiator for Ford trucks that bolts right in. Has correct location of inlet/outlets & only requires drilling of two of the holes for mounting. I have one, hanging on my wall but was in my 78 BB W200.

Hauled the rc up to the dmv to get the vin inspection completed. That all went well but wouldn't you know, the title office took the day off for juneteenth in August. Ugh. That would've been nice to know before I made the trip.

Don't we love Ohio? Vin inspection I get it, but hell I had to do it on my 19 charger when I bought it in 19. Just crazy, quick 5 dollars for the government IMO. Anyway let me know what radiator you come across and choose. I may be putting a 440 in my truck sooner than later and will definitely need extra cooling.

Just catching up in the forum. What a great find. I know what it's like to sell a RC/TD and always have that open mind for another in the future. I'll be watching this build.

Radiator arrived yesterday evening. My game plan was replace a drag link on my wife's jeep then work on the Radiator. In true jeep fashion I ended up getting the drag link replaced, checking and re-torquing all the front end suspension, finding a seized up caliper which turned into a whole front end brake job. No work on the rc today.

Got it flushed out and I'm gonna let things cool down and start on this radiator install.

Looks like it's gonna be a decent fit. 3 of 4 mounting bolts lined up. The shroud didn't really line up with the studs they welded on but I don't think this was the original shroud. I'll have to do some trimming around the top hose and a few other minor changes but overall it's a pretty easy fit.
