I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea as to how the MT Radial Claws handle/perform on gravel and in mud.

I don't have any first hand experience with them, but I'll be getting the 35's here shortly. I did a lot of research on them before I made my decision. They do good in everything. A lot of people say that they arn't anygood, but that is the bias version and that is because of the tread wear which is really poor on the bias ones. But the radials are another story . Go to http://www.pavementsucks.com/forums/search.php and do a search and you'll come up with all the info you could possibly want.
in magazine test they do really good. One of the off road magazines did a test of mud tires and it did really well in the mud. I can't remember about the tread wear though.
I have used the Radial Claws for several years, they are good on rocks and gravel really bad in snow, I stay out of mud.
