As soon as I get my truck fixed we might have to do that....the bloody tranny quit as we where leaving to move here, so the trucks in San Angelo....damn thing.........
Well after a nervewracking trip to Angelo and back and a lot of $$$$$ the trucks back on the road....by the way u-haul lies when they say you cant fit a full sized Dodge on one of their car-trailers...musta have had a whole half-inch to spare before the thing fell off the back of the trailer.....
You should have seen the white knuckles going through all that road destruction in the hondo valley driving a 26' u-hual with my truck on a trailer...the truck was as far forward as i could get it and the center of the rear axle was even with the end of the trailer so had half a tire on the thing and the rest was hanging off...thank goodness for lots of strong chain.
It will be nice when they finally finish that road work. I've been through there several times recently on trips to Roswell. But I haven't had to be dealing with a truck and a loaded trailer. At least that's over for you.
