Mom was pissed

Well, my mom's been complaining about the towl rack we have in the bathroom, so I decided to do something about it. Before she woke up to today, I tossed out her old rack and decided to make a built in unit. Needless to say she woke up to the beautiful sound of power tools. ;D It's not done yet, but here's a few pics of the big hole I made.

Here's a strait on shot. I made the hole in the wall between the shower and the bathtub, as the other walls wouldn't work.

these are some of the tools of destruction...uh, I mean construction. This is part of the Ryobi 18 volt line, which I've found to be just as good and durable as the DeWalt 18V's which I use in work. The Ryobi's are a lot cheaper too.

Look for part two of this saga tomarrow. If I wake up early enough I may actually get it done. ;D ;D
I love thge destruction part but the construction part sucks. I get to paint my bedroom tonight the old lady seem to think it needs a new look. Damn Trading Spaces show.
Trading Spaces is awesome. I actually got the bug from that show and re-did my room. I was so tired of a plain white room, so I went with a nice semi-dark blue paint, black leather furniture (office chair for the computer and a lazyboy), chrome and stainless steel lighting fixtures, speaker stands, and ceiling fan, and a mix of dark wood and light wood trim and shelves. It may be a girly show, but my dump of a room is a lot better because of it. ;D

Btw, part two of my shelving project will have to wait. I descovered today that I didn't have enough wood to finish it, so I have to make a Home Depot run and finish it up either tomarrow or Sunday. Mom's starting to come around to the idea too (like she has a choice at this point). ;D

Those are some bad sumbitches, aren't they? I love my set. ;D
I bet you got some real mean look's when she woke up to your project!

I would like to see the finished project.

Oh yeah. She was so pissed off, but now that it's done she's happy. She wasn't too happy about getting that splinter in her foot though (oops). I'll get some pics up as soon as I can. I wanted to get some when I was done, but my sister needed my digicam at school 'cause one of her friends had an auto accident. i should have it back in about a week.
