Hi, everybody. My name is Dave I'm 45 :\'(. I live just north of Fergus Falls, MN. with my wife of 20yrs Kim and our 18yr old son Mike. We enjoy fishing, snowmobiling, darts, pool, camping ( when it's not raining ;D ) and my favorite, Ice Racing.
I've been an auto tech most of my adult life, but I got tired of being bent over fenders all day,( it;s also hard on the back )so I'm in road construction now and love being outside all day. I also LOVE winters off. I also spent 13yrs in the North Dakota National Guard. Kim has been a bookeeper since college. Mike is about to go to basic training on Jan. 23 for Nat. Guard.
We are all looking forward to meeting some of you to just bs or wheeling or whatever.

Hope everybody had a merry Christmas, and hopeing for a great new year.

Dave

Hi, My name is Dan & I live in Glenville, MN which is just south of Albert Lea, MN. I am 49 & love the old "87 RC. Bought it in 1988. Since then have redone the body & a different engine. I too, have always loved mopars. Can remember way back when I was very young my dad & grandpa had several Chyslers, Plymouths & Dodges. I had a '68 Charger 440 R/T but ended up selling it in 1975 shortly after getting married, cry cry! I like racing, hunting, fishing & all that male macho stuff, even a beer now & then.

What does being an AC leader entail? Depending on what it entails I'd do it.

Yeah okay I'll admit I'm from Minnesota too hee hee!
My name's Patrick and I have an 86 r/c that i bought a couple years ago and the engine siezed and that is how I found this site....since then i have rebuilt my engine (actually a different 318) and the truck runs for like a week, then is dead for a month or more...then I fix it eventually and then something else breaks on it and it sits. heh heh heh! I'm often too lazy to work on it, is all.
Also I have a 1979 Volvo 242 that kicks ass, and my driver is a chev malibu that is superiour in every way to all my other vehicles as far as 60 miles/day is concerned.
I also have an old camper trailer that I inherited from my parents, 1963 I think, 13-foot or something. I was towing it one time and I was halfway through Wisconsin and the wheelbearings siezed and burned up and it was great, so me and my sister had to drive three hours back here (Rochester) and buy a whole new axle from Northern Tool and drive back to wisconsin truck stop and spend all day swapping axles! But it was awesome.

Anyway reasons I should be in the Minnesota club:
1) i'm from minnesota
2) i've enjoyed rccentral for years now
3) i've got rccentral stickers on my truck
4) my truck doesn't actually run so I read this site alot hehehhe
5) and if my truck ever runs reliably I might just take it out to some state forests down here in southeast minnesota (rochester area or winona or whatever) and find some nice forest roads to drive on. Not really 4wheeling but whatyagonnado in this state.

Well, i figure I might as well speak up.

After all I've had the RustCharger for almost a year now.
(been towed by my interpid once, and towed the chevy truck twice) I suspect the poor vehical was used as a winter only plow vehical and never got a wash once in it's life time. The finders are almost gone, but she runs like a top at 180k miles on the drive train. If i can find a decent body before I can afford a truck worth fixing up, I might do that instead, but most of my money goes to my '01 Sebring coupe.

The familly has been almost only mopars since '84 starting wiht a reliant wagon, (except for a 2wd chevy truck we don't talk about) went through a total for 4 k-cars, and loved everyone, after all, they are cheap, easy to fix (cylinder head gasket change in less than 4 hours) and you really don't car much when one throws a rod at 70mph on hwy 169 in bloomington 30 miles from home. ANd an 87 Omni is running strong, even after and engine fire. I also have owned a '97 Intrepid.

So yea, I'm a mechanic working on light construction equipment for RSC. I live Right next to MPLS in Robbinsdale.

Well what you can do is start a post in the area discussion board about ND, and then you can go thru the members list and contact all the ND members and have them reply to that post and when there is enough interest there will be a ND chapter

Welcome aboard Phonguy

(actually i'll make the post in the Area chapter discussion board and you do the rest)
