this may sound kind of stupid, but here goes.

i was going through the member index last night and i notice it only lets you view about 1100 of the 5000+members that we have on here. is this because the others haven't registered? or is there another reason for this?

just wondering

thanks

eric

no, it shows all of the members. It shows 100 members per page, and if you look at the botom, there are 52 pages of members.
yeah i saw the 52 pages listed but after page 11 it wouldnt show me anybody

eric

edit: does it make a difference if you are using one type of member search over another(ie using the search by state method over just looking through all of the members)

ED3's campaign to get everyone to fill out their profiles helped greatly, but there are still a lot of 'anonymous' members...

Maybe we should try a pogrom instead of a campaign :p

hey smokey,

i agree. we need to do something but i am sure trying to put a new program on here is time consuming.

so i guess i will just have to keep looking through all of the pages.

thanks

Int you have to just go tru the list of names manualy ...... there are alot of members that have filled out there fields incorrectly and have the state where the city belongs. ...... that and you may find some state of residence in the user name and no location filled out at all. David

Smokey,

I recall some lines from a Rush song talking about that.

Something about living beneath the pleasure dome, yadda, yadda yadda, decreed by kubla kahn, blah blah blah dine on honey dew, and drink the milk of paradise, blah blah blah, etc, etc. Don't remember anything else. But I always got the impression that Xanadu was some kind of Greek idea of eternal paradise. ::)

when he wrote the poem "Kubla Kahn", the actual poem came to him in a dream. after he awakened he sat down and started writing the poem.
sometime during the writing of the poem he was interrrupted by someone arriving at his house., after his visitors left, he sat down to continue writing and could not remember the rest of what he dreamed. this is the reason this poem is unfinished.

I was told it was an "opium induced stupor". Not a dream. But I suppose at that stage what difference did it make to him? ;D ;D
