I'm probably going to convert to manual brakes, but I'm not sure what it will take to do so.

Does the manual master cylinder have the rod on it if I bought a new one or would I have to locate a truck that had manual to get the rod for the brake pedal.

I think the prop. valve is different also, but not sure though.

It's the same master, you would just need the pushrod and the mounting plate. However, unless you have the '74 4 wheel drum setup, your foot's gonna get real tired of that. Discs require a whole lot more pressure to operate than drums. Why do you want to do this?
