I have a 8-lug D44 with lock outs that I am taking the knuckles and stuff off of to switch onto my full-time. The axle only had one hub on it, so I am going to have to buy a set. Is one brand better than the other, and also does the spacer that the crome part of the hub is bolted to( the black piece that is held on by 6-3/8" bolts) come with a new set of lockouts? I only have one of these too. What year of truck do I need to tell them I need a set of hubs for?
Thanks

The hubs come complete to bolt on including new screws. Ask for hubs that are the year of your axle knuckles.
I prefer warn premium hubs But I have heard good things about milemarker and others as well.

I used superwinch manual hubs for 6 years and really liked them alot. I broke them and the only pair that I could get at the time was a set of standard warn hubs. I haven't been impressed so far, but that's my opinion.

I'd get mile marker, they're good and cheap.
