Edit: My son named the truck Juggernaught "Juggs" but then he came up with Leviathan "Levi". So it is now Levi (until the little fella finds a better one)

Edit: Started this post in 2001, and it's now 2012, and it has been a while since I've posted about my truck, and I thought it was time for some updates. We first built it to be my daily driver...and I hate slowing down on the hills, so the original buildup involved the 419 stroker...and yes, it ain't no dawg on the hills.

But now...well I was all happy until I met Sam (Mad Max)...and he lives about 5 miles from me...and we work together...and now...he 'showed me the light' for what my truck 'can' be....and well check out the new posts at the bottom - we're gettin' serious {devil}. Buwaahhaahahahha

Here are the day light shots of my truck. {cruise} {cruise}

More impressive pics!!! I hadn't noticed the twin snorkle air cleaner the first time I saw your pics. Did it come original or was it from a CHP car? Also, I notice you have MSD Superconductor ignition wires. I have a set on my RC and they made a huge difference. I don't have the MSD ignition box but I do run a off-road Blaster coil. Once again, a very nice job of restoring and maintaining your RC!!! 8)
Thank you - it was a lot of fun restoring it. Yes, the dual breather came with the 360. I put in the MSD ignition amplifier, coil and wires. It made a big difference in starting and take off. She fires up within in two engine cycles "varum, varum - VAARRROOOOOMM".

Truck
beautiful!
Very nice ride!! BTW, where did you get the neato RAM floor mats?
I think they are original factory mats. My brother bought the truck from the original owner and they were in it. I have not seen the mats anywhere. I would like a second set. Got to keep up my spare parts for longevity. ;D
Very clean R/C!!! You did an great job with it!

Had
I was just admiring your engine compartment photo again. I hadn't noticed it the first time, but is that a special equipment 100 amp. alternator (smooth case, internal regulator)? '74 through '88 RC's came with Chrysler (finned, external regulator) alternators usually. '89 through '93 came with Nippondenso (also finned, but smaller, longer cases with internal regulator) alternators. Mine came stock with a 90 amp. Nippondenso. I replaced it with a 150 amp. Nippondenso that's been cut back to 110 until I upgrade some of the wiring. Just curious. ???
Sweet looking RC man!!!!! thumbs up!!!!
Thanks everyone for the great comments. I appreciate the compliments. You all know how much $$$ and time it takes to keep em up. ;D
very nice baby you have there! i am guessing those seats are aftermarket ones. would you be willing to share where you got them and how much they cost you? i am on the lookout for a new interior 8) ...
Sorry for taking soooo long to respond :-[

My brother installed them, he got them out of a 93 RC. They are dual reclining bucket seats with armrests and are super comfortable! I can drive all day and not be tired. They bolted right up no problems. He paid $350 out of a Ranch Cordova CA from "All Dodge".

If you want the number to all dodge I can post it for you
here is an inside shot - I had to fabricate a special bar to hold the 16" wheel. She barely fits with the hatch closed.
