I have a stock '89 318 LA style and I want to put headers and have my dual exhaust redone. I plan on dropping a 360 Magnum in the next year or so. I am wondering if the LA headers will still work when I do the swap? I do know that I will have to plug the AIR injection ports on the heads. I just don't know what size they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, the headers will work. The headers off my LA 318 bolted up to my 360 magnum no problem. The size of the air injection holes is 1/4 inch. Just use a 1/4 inch coarse thread tap and set screws.

I think they are dynomax. I bought them at oreillys auto parts about 7 years ago for my old 318 LA. When we swapped to the 360 magnum they bolted right up. I still even use the old LA header gaskets too.

BTW, use 1/4 inch set screws about 1/2 to 3/4 inch long. Don't forget to put some locktite on them too.
