Alright, a couple days ago I finally got my yokes fixed. Now guess what... I drive it too a friends who is a body man to look it over, and I'm getting rady to leave, and fire her up, and I hear it knocking. Now, I suppose it coulld be the torque converter..but it only knocks when warmed up, and it's definately bottom end. Since it only does it when warmed up, is it prolly one of my main bearings?

Sorry, misspoke myself, meant to say rod bearings. Is it possible to check with the motor still in the truck, and what do I look for?

Sorry took so long to respond.. The truck had to be driven about 10 or 15 miles knocking to get it home. I would have had a friend tow me but noone was avalible. So if I do the spark plug wire check thing, I don't think it will cause anymore damage then already has occured. But once I find the culprit, I pull the pan, then waht? Is my crank likely to be damaged? Can I just pull the rod cap off and put a new bearing in it?
