i only ever slapped people that really asked me for it,and iwill continue to do that,so if you get slapped and mine just went down too it was probably me

Nope, not really. SMF has a MOD for this, too. When a person slaps another member they have to give a reason. Same when they applaud. The Administrator can set it up so the recipient knows who, and for what their Karma was changed.

Karma is a fun way for the members of this site to show there love or hate for each other. Giving good karma doesnt cost you anything. Now if you slap somebody (think of slapping as negative karma) that will take 1 karma point away from you. That way people don't go around slapping people at random.
