took the ram in yesterday for a full checkup since i just got it and was told that the seals might need to be replaced in the 4x4 and that the left window motor was broke. So i thought it was going to check out A ok besides that part but insead here is what i got back from my mechanic.
what is wrong and prices:

T-case: 675-900 depending
Front axle seals: 315
*Front U joint: 80
Rear U joint: 250 + -
Right Window: 200
*Left tie rod: 200
* indicates being done as we speak
are these prices outragous? i feel they are very high but have no real experience w/ 4x4 vehicles/price on fixing parts and also wondered how hard would it be for me to fix some w/ little mechanical "know how". just wondering what i shoudl do where i could get some better prices etc. just a little upset right now and need some help

Is that just parts or parts+labor. If thats with labor that the only thing that sounds high is the rear u-joint. But if that is parts, that is WAY high. If you want to get the parts yourself, just to to checker or napa. They're prices are decent.
