So, I went wheeling today (well, only to the local off road beach) for the first time since i broke my ankle 8 weeks ago. It felt good to drive off of pavement again. While I was out there I snapped a few pictures. Click on the link at the bottom to see the rest of the pics from todays fun.

Looks like a lot of fun. I wish I could wheel on the beach here in So. Cal.

Ouch! I've wheeled on many beaches here and I've had nothing but trouble. That salt water is like acid to a truck, rots them down to the frame if you get em wet in sea water

The beach is a place you have to use your head. First of all under no circumstance short of loss of life or my truck do I EVER drive through salt water no matter how shallow. Second, don't park it too close to the water if you are going to be there a while, I mean use some common sense. Third, ALWAYS rinse if not wash your truck after comming off the beach. I have had my truck on the beach so many times I have lost count, and I haven't had a single problem with rust. Beach driving can be a blast as long as you use your head and don't do anything stupid like driving through the salt water like on commercials.
