I made the spacer to push back the PSC steering pump 5/16" so my pulleys line up. Trying to mockup everything so no surprises when the new plate gets here.

This is my Wilson Manifold spacer that I am going to use.

I pulled out the mock up block from the frame & moved the passenger side motor mount to the 540 & good to go. Then I went to move the driver's side over & it hits the oil pump housing :(. So time to build a new driver's side mount with proper fit up. everything is holding me up.

Well I picked up fuel regulator mount friday & installed it & the regulator. Also made up the full lines & return lines on the back of the motor & installed.

All the fuel lines are -08 or 1/2"

I thought I could pick up the new motor mount on friday but the offset was bent wrong & the gut got covid so I hope he does ok & gets back to work so I can get it this week..

Hey Jim, have you looked at or thought about mad dog headers? They sell fender well headers for the big block trucks, that are in my opinion the best headers for these trucks. I have had them on 3 diffrent big block trucks.

Who makes great aluminum rads & fans that would cool this beast?
Thanks
I went to a place called Hot Rod City here in California after seeing a blip about them in Mopar Collectors Guide magazine.
They are out of business...
I'm sure you can do a search around the web to find a suitable piece.
The fans they used pulled almost 3900 cfm. I would aim for the biggest cfm's you can get. The fans are just as important as the radiator.
And the best controller you can find is crucial too.
I've pushed this guy before... CONTROLLERS | autocoolguy He does have the best units I've found for heavy duty usage.
