First up I have great sympathy for what he is going through wishing this cancer onto nobody.

He has had a checkered career and is probably a Demo-crap at heart but due to his family ties he joined the Republicans, his actions speak louder than words.

He is drawing a salary from the public purse but due to his ill health not performing his duties to those who elected him. It is time for him to retire and spend his remaining days with family and close friends and allow another person to truly represent the good people of Arizona.

With the mid-term elections coming up it would cost the government very little to add his seat for this coming election.

I believe the AZ governor would appoint someone to fill the remainder of his term.

I would list all the senators (Or any lawmakers), that have not fulfilled their duties to their constituents, but don't have the couple of weeks it would take. Start with the number one waste of a human, obama. as soon as he was elected, he started campaigning for president. I bet he has the record for the least time actually spent doing anything resembling his congressional duties.

Yes that I believe is the protocol but McCain being the number one Trump hater he is determined to stay to try and cause as much trouble as possible dis-enfranchising his electors because of his hatred of President Trump.

I have tried to be kind in my original statement of him because of his problems.

I also agree Obuma was groomed to become El Presidenta from the outset by the elite like McCain.

Oh, yea he is going to be a thorn to the very end.

I'm expecting for him to come out with his book of lies. That seems to be the new way of American politics.

Even though I did not agree with John a lot, I do believe his heart, and focus was on improving our country. Thats something I cannot say about the majority of his colleagues.

Here's to you John. {beer}

I do not fault him for his sacrifices and service to our nation, but as a politician, I'm deeply disappointed.
I'm gonna break that cardinal rule that one should never speak ill about the dead, but in this case, and now that he's dead and buried, I'm gonna make an exception because of the broken promises that he himself made.

We should never forget his thumbs down to end Obamacare, simply out of defiance to the President, but it was a thumb in the eye to those who supported him and relied on him to end one of the worse legislations perpetrated on the people of this country. He promised he would vote against it, ran on that promise and won on that promise.

So heres to you Mr. McCain

John McCain - RIP

After a chequered life of ups and downs you can now rest.
You sound like the type of guy that'll stick a knife in a fella's back while giving him a reach-a-round and nibbling on his ear lobe. Let's have a look at your portfolio?

The exact deed I blame him first and foremost..but he was not alone in that deed..and not enough middle fingers for what he did to the MIAs..all to cover up his own sin.

Well, at least he had a backbone, with the ability to make up his own mind.

His service and dedication to this nation will not be seen again anytime soon.

I love how the Republicans so soon for get the past in that they Blocked Obama at every turn, acting like political terrorists, and now are saying the Dems are doing it.

Hell, they have the Majority, and still can't get anything done.

Political parties are a poison, and George Washington knew it.

McCain didn't have anything resembling a backbone. To put it bluntly, he may had been a hero, but he went down as a lier! He made promises he never intended to keep and he lied to his constituents to get re-elected. He was a disgrace

Sure, McCain had an ability to make up his own mind, but he wasn't elected for that ability. He was elected to represent the people of his State, and his primary duty was to carry out the will of the people, of his state. But thats not what he did. With his own mouth, he promised to help end Obamacare and was elected by the overwhelming majority of Arizonans on that principal. When that opportunity finally came, he turned his thumb down.

His service and dedication to this nation will not be seen again anytime soon.
I hope his defiant act to usurp the will of the people of Arizona to which he was elected by will never be seen again anytime soon in any state of our union

I certainly didn't forget that the Republicans tried to block Obama…we were counting on them to do so.

Acting like political terrorists? Yeah I remember that! I remember when a Republican entertainer told large crowds of people that they wanted to blow up the White House shortly after Obama was elected. Or that despicable republican comedian who took a photo of herself holding a mock severed head of Obama. I still remember the republican guy who shot at a bunch of democrats, seriously injuring one of them while practicing at the Congressional charity baseball game. And who can forget the republicans who violently rioted at Berkeley, destroying property, to shut down Democrat speakers. Yup I remember it all and everyone of them should have been thrown in jail.

Hell, they have the Majority, and still can't get anything done.
Hmm. Well I believe Obamacare is over, the economy is looking better than ever, and unemployment is going down.

Political parties are a poison, and George Washington knew it.
That maybe so, but if anything, if George Washington was alive today, he wouldn't be a Democrat, socialist or liberal.

Jr this is a typical response from someone still "Sucking on his Momma's Titty", grow up and get the real information yourself. cnn and msnbc push a false and fake narrative which people like you swallow without checking for yourself.

RXT's breakdown is well thought out and correct, Arizonians have deserved a representative who acts in the best interests of their electors.

Now days too many politicians think it is their right to impose their own agenda upon their constituents especially when it goes against common sense. This is why people vote for one representative over another, McCain made it plain what he was going to do if re-elected and the voters elected him to carry out those wishes.

Once elected he chose to go against the wishes of the Arizonian voters and everything he had voted for in the past because of his hatred for President Trump.

Jr don't be lazy, search out the truth, it is not hard to find, you will be surprised at what is out there.

My statement had nothing to do with politics, or John McCain in general. If I wanted to pick a side and blindly support it for sheer entertainment and the thrill of winning with little effort on my part, I would just watch football. (And I will, until politics ruins that too)
As far as finding the truth. Good luck. You'd be more likely to squeeze a peppercorn from a salt rock.(I just made that up. I know, pretty good right?)

I was just pointing out the insincerity of your eulogy.

Did he have a checkered past? Yes. Just like every other human on the face of the earth. That includes you.

Either wish him well, or be glad he's dead. I won't fault you either way.

On the bright side, maybe they'll just skip the middleman and appoint the Halliburton corporation as his replacement.

P.S. I love titties. Why you trying to ruin them for me with that type of mental image? That's low, even by Australian standards.

Umm, if you've been watching the NFL, why are those million dollar players taking a knee during our National Anthem?

I don’t know...dizziness due to the amount of concussions sustained on a weekly basis?

I don’t care what they do in two minutes I’m not watching.

When they start wearing suits and talking out the side of their mouth, then I’ll turn it off.

Well you just said that you would watch football until politics ruins that too…Well I submit to you that politics is in the NFL and is ruining the game. Taking a knee during the anthem isn't an act of reverence for the country or an opportunity to pray to God. They do not like our country and they won't stand and show respect for it. It's no different than some university professor who burns the flag, or the typical socialist who states that America was never great (or is the worse nation on earth)

Not every one of these morons wear suits. In this circumstance, they wear football uniforms and they are using the game as a platform to spew out their lies.

Spew what lies? I haven't seen anyone run up and hand them a mic during the anthem.

Maybe you're talking about the postgame interviews? I don't watch those either. I saw them make the play..no need to hear them talk about "executing" or, thanking God for helping them when they needed to catch a ball. (Which one is it? Practice or divine intervention? Surely you don't need both to run fast with a ball.)

Maybe they're spewing lies on Twitter? Now that makes sense. It seems like the place to go when you want to lie to a bunch of people..or just tell them about how awesome you are.

Yeah, you know who I'm talking about.
