I see some rusting through the scruff plate (door step), panels below the door and the area behind the rear wheels. I was told I could go to a junk yard and have them cut off those parts off an old RC and weld them in place (after cutting out the rusted areas). I have a mig and larger welder but never did this kind of work. Does anyone have any ideas about how to do this right?

thanks for the getback,You recommend them over having a piece cut out at the yard? I looked at their site-good information.
