i've been tossing the idea if putting a 205 TC in my truck instead of a 203. i've even got a classified ad looking for one. someone sent me an email saying that the adapter between the trans and T case for a 205 is the same. so i researched it. and what i found kinda says yes, it says that the 208 has a "6 bolt curcular pattern and a 23 spline female input" and it says round about the same thing about the dodge 205. is this true? am i to assume that i already have an adapter and correct output shaft for a 205? if so how much work is it going to be to swap shafts?

In order to swap the output shaft in an auto trans, the trans needs to be completely disassembled and reassembled with the correct output shaft. I'm not sure if the adapters are the same though. Would be nice if they were.
