I'm new to Alberta and new to the site. I figured with over 2 million people in this province and that trucks are LOVED in Alberta that this chapter would be kickin'. So let's here from some of ya! Big Mopar and Ramcharger fan here. ;D ;D ;D

Well it looks like someone is alive out there. Good. It's up to us newbies to get this chapter rolling. And to anybody who does not own a Ramcharger but a Dakota, Durango, Ram, Diesel, Power Wagon or just has a interest in Dodge, Plymouth, Fargo or whatever part of Mopar in the truck world, say hello! The whole idea is to meet people with a common interest and go have fun with it. 8) ;D :)

We are a bunch of slackers in Alberta! :) My son and I went to Maclean creek before haloween and haven't been out since because of the snow. Anybody up for a day of winter wheeling in southern Alta???

Hi William. There is info about me and my two Ramchargers on the intro's. What I can add to that is I am originally from Manitoba and I have settled in the N.W. part of Calgary. The two Ramchargers while in good working order are of course going to have some modifications. My '89 is going to have a pumped up stock look with a bored and stroked small block. The '91 is going to receive a taller lift, taller tires and probably the other 360 block I have as it has a 318 in it now.

I am working at getting this chapter active and as long as we all keep participating on this chapter board this will gain a full head of steam. 32 people are from Alberta and half that number I think joined since this summer.

Chargeabob I would definately be into that. Have to replace my front drive shaft though and recheck the transfer case. Previous misadventures. Is Maclean Creek tough going or just easy snow bound fun. Again, if it takes a little more to go through, I'll have to take care of that front end.

Maclean is closed for the winter now. Waiporous has a few good fairly flat winter trails to have fun on. Good luck on that front shaft.

Thanks Craig. Already found a shaft. Checking to make sure everything is good.

BTW...I also belong to another Dodge truck club with a active local chapter. Mostly new trucks. But a good bunch of guys. Let me know if you would be interested in some light wheelin'.

Mike, good of you to say hello. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Hope things get better for you. As you may have read my intended mods in either of the two topics you had responded to...none done yet. Life does get in the way sometimes. But I do have time to work on this chapter and get things rolling. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Ya! The Freak's here...and my computer has been ressurrected. sorry for being away so long. Just been busy with movin' the girlfriend and getting things in order. Also know of a couple of other of Dodge truck clubs. Going to see in there is interest in a few from each to do something. Always talking about some easy off-roading, dyno day, track day, camping, etc., but very little seems to get done. Gotta' change that. Between the three or for clubs there must be about 100 people. In the rules of sales, it's always 1/3 of 1/3 that will be of sincere interest. i.e.- will do something. With the present numbers that would give us 9 - 11 people. And again, 1/3 the number would be able to attend with an exception of one to two times a year for the whole group. In July, I'll have time to contact everyone to gain interest in some of those events I mentioned.

Please let us all know of any happenings in your area, Seems like not much other than a yearly mud race for me.

I`m alive and kicking in Calgary(mainly kicking my `86 Ram d-100). My rust bucket is an `86 318, Edelbrock 625, K/N, MSD wires all of which I robbed off my `70 Dart Swinger 340 before I had to sell it! I got burned so bad on that deal. I love RCs! My truck is to embarasing to bring to a club though. I`m here just the same though! So..Hi!
