Hey there everyone! I am out in Durango working all summer and will have my RC out most of the time hopefully. I'm looking to get in some trail runs and hope to tag along with some of ya'll. Hope to here from ya.

Well, Crazy Willie and Desert Dog are only about 200 miles away in Albuquerque, the rest of us are 450 miles away or so... So altho we'd love to come play, there are major logistics (read money and miles) issues.

Maybe GP or some of the Arizona people will get closer to you than we are... or run over to Utah to see TV Larsen and MacGuyver.

I do love it up there tho. I used to live in the La Plata River valley just south of the CO/NM state line, and even tho we're waaaay down here, I still have some property in the Pagosa area..

Go west of Durango toward Cortez, and turn North up the road that parallels the La Plata River. That used to be a pretty drive that got fairly tough up in the mountain... but I haven't been up that one since 1984.

Well I just got back from the doctors and gotta do surgery this month so I will be able to get down there with my truck around the beginning of May. I am also putting the RCC shackle flip and getting another 4" of lift but will be done the middle of the month so I am gonna be laid up and trying to do truck work.

Thanks for the reply there Smokey, I have been talking to the AR boys and should hook up with them after all my crap.

Yep. I guess we should all save our pennies for Utah in October.
