ok here is a question.... could a heat soaked coil be causing the engin to just start to sputter, backfire, die and not restart? if so how hard is it to relocate the coil onto the passenger fender well???? this of course is in my 71 dart (damn pos {flipoff})

It could. Coil could be going bad too. There is aftermarket coil brackets you could use to relocate. Just make sure it is grounded.

the really screwed thing is its less than a month old..... maybe i should take it in and have it replaced under warranty.... then relocate it... as for gorounding... ALWAYS!!!!! never enough grounds ;D

Yup just make sure you get a coil wire long enough to reach it though loll Nothing like getting mounted up and then finding out oh shit not enough coil wire to reach the cap .

i still have the long coil wire that came with the wire set... so thats not a problem
