Changed my ignition cylinder lock in my 87 ramcharger (4x4)(original key worn) it starts, but now my wipers, heater, power locks and windows don't work. Manual says about adjusting rod, but it doesn't say how too! Please help.
you installed the LOCK incorrectly = your one tooth off [ it happens ] pull it back out and make sure the "rack" is in the right position , make sure everything works before you put ALL back together
Agree. Like a dumb a— I lost the only key I got with my truck. Locksmith quoted me $400 to get me a key replaced. Went to Auto Zone paid $17 for replacement lock cylinder with 3 keys. But yes before reassembling everything, make sure everything operates and operated smoothly.
