It's running, it's driving and it stops. I think I'll buy it and start attacking the obvious deficiencies first. One thing that really is annoying is "Squeeky" steering wheel. It sounds like it's coming from the column. The seller is allowing me to take it home and do the usual inspection stuff, compression, looking at steering, fluids etc. I think this doesn't have power steering. Ideas what I should look for in the steering???

The squeak is possible a bearing in the column. Not sure what exact steering set-up those smaller trucks used. Never been around one but I believe much of it is shared with Mitsubishi.

Could be all the plastic around the column also.
