He wandered out from under the Sundance, so I am assuming that he must have been under there working on it. :) Its skin was ice cold. It barely moved when I picked it up. After about ten minutes of being inside, it was all wild and trying to escape.

DIALUP WARNING. These pics are massive! 360K and 400K

Just though you guys might like the find. Earlier that day there was a trantula in the road. I didn't get a pic of it though.

Cool! I have salamanders around my house here on the mountain, but they're not that big. Black ones with blue spots and grey ones with red stripes. When I see something squiggling, I have to look twice to see if it has legs (to make sure it's not a baby snake!)

We found a wild lizard in a Wal-Mart many years ago. Apparently it came in on a shipment of plants from Florida. The store manager helped us catch it and we took it home and kept it in a big terrarium for years. He ate crickets, and he had a really showy orange "fan" under his chin that he would flare out when he saw his reflection in a mirror. We learned a lot about lizards from having him around.

Sweet we have black with orange spots here but haven't seen to many for some time because of the dry weather the last couple years. :-\ Been seeing alot more lizards that one would typically see in the desert, I hope its not a sign. ::)
