Hey, I'm putting a 4speed in a '79 RC. The tranny supposedly came out of an '87 3/4 power ram but I'm starting to have my doubts. The slave cylinder is on the passenger side. I have the master cylinder, the slave cylinder and a hydraulic line I bought seperately but there's no way this wimpy plastic hydraulic line is going to reach the passenger side. Has anyone encountered this? Do I just have the wrong line? Any imput would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about taking a steel brake line and welding it to the metal fittings in place of the plastic but that's the best thing I can think of. I'm out of ideas.

it sounds like you have the wrong line / l,d try to look at a 87 truck thats all together to see whats up / if you can find one
